EKOMAT
EKOMAT Energy Unit is a modern device for biomass-based hot water production, used for heating,
technological, and utility-hot water production purposes. The lower section of the boiler is a
chammote-bricked, dry furnace. The combustion section is made of chrome and cast iron alloy
headers. The make-up air nozzles are placed on the side walls of the combustion chamber. The
fuel is transported into the furnace via a screw feeder, at the end of which the upthrust and
combustion take place. The upper section of the boiler is a double-draught flame heat exchanger.
The back section of the boiler is a cyclone with an air extractor. The device is operated with
a control cabinet.

EKOMAT II
EKOMAT II Energy Unit is an upgraded version of EKOMAT. Bearing in mind the importance of natural environment
protection, 'Intermet' designers have developed a double-exhaustion furnace. As a result, the emission of
environmental pollutants into the atmosphere has been decreased. Protraction of the time, during which
exhaustion fumes stay in the high temperature section, ensures an improved process of afterburning. Thanks
to the specialist equipment (oil burner and PLC control cabinet) EKOMAT II boilers can be adjusted to
combust chipboard, as well as wood-based waste.

EKOMAT MR
It is a solution that enables combustion of wood chips with moisture content up to 60%, and as much as up to 60 mm
gradation. The main element of the unit is a quadruple-exhaustion boiler with a hydraulic slidable grate. The
boiler is fed with biomass via a hydraulic feeding piston. The biomass is transported into the boiler house
via a chain conveyor connected to a chip container situated outside the boiler house, or to any other depot
equipped in an extraction system. This way, Intermet has extended its offer, presenting a solution suitable
for a wide range of clients. Moisturized chips are the least expensive and the easiest to obtain type of biomass.
